I love being creative, from Photoshop to sewing to kids fun.
My craftiness all too often just helps bring my shortcomings to the surface,
but so it goes I guess! Can't seem to stop nonetheless :)
This blog gives me a place to share my creative goings on, which makes them even more fun!
In some ways, I'd say Capital B also just gives me something to do- it's a hobby in itself :)
My family consists of my hottie husband Stephen,
our little boys- Cooper, who is five, and Ryder, who is three-
as well as my stepsons, Taron, 14, and Keaton, 12.
It goes without saying that It's a Boys Life!
A lot of the stuff I share seems to have a boy bent to it as a result.
You'll often see me using the hashtag #boysrule because, well, they just do :)
We were engaged April 8th and married on July 10!
We are each other's best friend!
We live in the Idaho Falls area and have been Idaho natives our whole life.
We are grateful to live close to the areas we both think of as "home."
I love small town life. You'll find my style to be simple, natural and genuine- at least I hope! :)
We are Mormons, and you'll see plenty of how our faith plays into our lives here at Capital B.
I know I am inspired by the religious strength other bloggers offer, too :)
Our family hobbies include archery, camping, dance parties,
baking, ding-dong ditching, blanket forts, bicycle rides around the neighborhood,
hitting the nearby sledding hill, playing I-Spy on the drive into town...
not sure those are all hobbies.... but, ya.... sure they are ;)
Really we are happy doing just anything as long as its together.
Stephen is also a falconer and loves it when we all venture out flying with him.
And why is my family's life and my craftiness all in this one blog?
Well, I feel this strong need to create, to use my creative energy...
and I feel strongly about recording the goings on of our life.
Back in the day, I used to be a scrapbooker, but now, this is pretty much it!
I really try to make sure I'm not blogging just to blog,
but that what you see here is what I do for real, so it all just jives :)
It never fails to make me smile hearing from and
connecting with people that visit our blog!
